Indo-Pak Foreign secretary talks begin in New Delhi

Foreign secretaries of Pakistan and India have initiated talks in New Delhi Tuesday, Media News reported.Peace,security,nuclear,confidence-building measures,the Kashmir issue,promotion of friendly exchanges are key issue.

Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir and his Indian counterpart Nirupama Rao are present in the meeting.After landing in New Delhi, Bashir said there was no trust deficit between the two countries at the leadership level.


"There is no trust deficit in so far as the upper echelons at the leadership level is concerned. What we call the trust deficit has to be more clearly understood, I think, basically the effort is to actually build greater understanding, instead of saying that it is a trust deficit, I would say, deepening of understanding," said Bashir.
