Anna ended his 12 day long fast at Ramlila Maidan a short while ago where he was offered juice by a group of children.
This followed adoption of a resolution by both the houses of Parliament on Saturday agreeing in principle with Anna Hazare’s three key demands.Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh wrote a letter to him conveying the same and urged him to end his fast and wished him good health.After receiving the letter, Anna Hazare announced that he would break his fast on Sunday morning.Both houses of parliament adopted a resolution on the sense of house accepting key demands of Anna Hazare on citizen charter, lower bureaucracy to be under the ambit of lokpal and establishment of state lokayuktas and power of lokpal to penalise grievance redressal mechanism violators.
