India beat New Zealand  placed  third U-21 Eve's hockey tournament
22nd Lal Bahadur Shastri Under-21 Women's hockey tournament, India defeated Australia 3-2 in the third-fourth place classification match in New Delhi today. Eve India Hockey , the hosts ended third in the tournament.

India had crashed out of the title race, producing a lackluster display and losing to Germany 1-2 in their last round-robin match yesterday.
