Dubai Tourism Road Show

Dubai Tourism Road Show covering the vibrant cities of Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi and Ahmedabad. The event was an immense success with close to 1,000 senior travel trade members attending across the four cities. To further enhance the quantum of B2B networking opportunities between our Indian and Dubai travel fraternity, my office will participate at the Travel Outbound Workshop from the 6 – 9th of February and at the South Asia Travel & Tourism Exchange (SATTE) from the 10 – 12 of February in addition to B2C exhibitions such as the Times of India travel fair titled ITM and the popular exhibition TTF OTM. As a focus area for this month’s newsletter; we have highlighted several big sporting events in Dubai such as the ‘Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon’, ‘Dubai Desert Classic’ and the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships which I am sure will excite all your customers who are sports enthusiasts. I am also pleased to inform you that Dubai is to receive the largest cruise ships in the world which should help aid our efforts in promoting Cruise tourism. The Dubai Cruise Terminal operated by DP World and managed by DTCM was voted the Middle East’s leading cruise port for the 4th straight year at the World Travel Awards in May 2011.On behalf of the entire team, I would like to thank you for your continued patronage towards Dubai and wishing you and your family a successful and prosperous year ahead!

Sincerely,

Carl Vaz
Director - India Representative Office
