6.9-magnitude quake strikes off Indonesia

A magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck 182km northeast of Ende, Indonesia at 1345 GMT on Friday, Reuters reported. The depth was 562km, according to the US Geological Survey. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said there was no threat of a tsunami.
